Respected Swamiji, Yesterday in your discourse you have mentioned about mentally ill people.Why this kind of state happens to people?And our body is controlled by mind and mind is controlled by chaithanyam.is chaithanyam not controlling their mind?Please clear my doubt Swamiji.

Dear Lakshmi,
Mind contains accumulated culture; those deep rooted impressions mould a person’s character.
If the culture he developed is related to a materialistic life, such a mind will always be weak.
Those who have not utilized their mental faculties, such a mind will become retarded in the society.
You should understand the philosophy behind the growth of the mind.
First of all, understand that your present culture is what you have accumulated in the past, unless you transform your mind through spiritual practices.
