Sarva dharmam parithejya, what is dharma?

The word translates to “that which holds or sustains”. Dharma comprises the eternal laws of conduct that sustains us at individual and social levels. Any time those laws are challenged life and the cosmos becomes miserable. In this context Bhagavad Gita 18/66, (Sarva karmam parithejya, mam ekam saranam vraja……) there is different meaning to the word. Here it advises you on the power of renunciation and surrender. To discard all religions and ideologies and totally surrender to HIM. Hari Om.
