sir I want to know about the hindu religion’s origins and which book i refer for this one please guide me

Dear Kumaran Baiju,
The name “Hindu” was given by other religions who came to India.
What we have is “Sanathana Dharma” means “the principles of life for ever and everywhere” (ever lasting or indestructible). Sanathana dharma is applicable for everyone in this world.
All the knowledge is originated from the “Pure Consciousness” (called GOD) and many maharishis were involved in capturing the knowledge experienced while meditating upon the supreme God.
Vedas are the oldest documented form of knowledge describing Sanathana Dharma. Many Upanishads and Puranas were written to suit people of various capabilities to understand the “Thathwam”.
Srimad Bhagavatham is the easiest book you can refer.
