Hari Om,
When we are miserable, we are far away from God who is our inner conscious power.
Our Scriptures say that, the lethargy, sorrow, and fearful mind are the sinful mind. Sin is not actually committed against others. It is a self torturing. So do your spiritual Sadhana and make the mind positive and strong (refer Geeta 2nd Chapter: Sukha dukhe same kritwa……).
