How can I differentiate between a positive and a negative vasana? – for e.g. I work and get money, which I spend and save for my body and my family to be satisfied… which in-turn, in a small way, leads my house, my country, and the world to be peaceful. Is ambition and hard work to get better offers – a positive or a negative vasana? An inspired mind is relaxed and works joyfully with surrender – it is not anxious about the results! Even if the result is not as expected, it has the strength to think creatively to explore solutions. An ambitious mind is restless, works with tension and too anxious about the result. When faced with failures, it collapses and stops all efforts. As we do not have the freedom to stay away from Karma, do it with vigour and happiness. All negative Vasanas get burnt through Sadhana and Satsang; and all positive Vasanas get fullfilled too! HariOm
