Swamiji, Are miseries and sufferings in this present life due to karma phala from previous births? My understanding from your speeches, is that goods and bads that happens to us is caused by accumulated thoughts in our mind from previous births. Is my understanding right? Are they interconnected. I am little confused. Does papam parihara poojas done in temples have any significance at all ?

What comes in our life is naturally connected to Karma, however we have conscious freedom to use it right to change your attitude towards your experience. As you asked me a question, are you using the right attitude in various events of your life. That is what spirituality is talking about. Please develop this faculty and your doubts will vanish.
