Swamiji, can we use the flower ushamalari/nithya kalyani for pooja purpose? one of my cousins recently told me the flower was also called ‘savam nari’ and planting that would cause fight between members of the house.. could you please clarify this doubt?

You offer anything to Bhagavan to symbolize offering yourself. So the aim is to offer what you consider the best. More importantly how pure is your bhavana when you offer. There are several stories in our tradition of people having offered the least of things, to their own body parts. But, every time there was perfect devotion Bhagavan accepted it. So, anything you consider good for HIM can be offered, as long as your Bhavana is right. Hari Om.
