Swamiji Hari Om!! How is your way of spirituality and teachings different from Amma Mata Amritanandamayi ? Amma is compassionate, helping , drying tears of poor , needy and others. But swamii, you say we need not be compassionate , you say we need to give them strength to face any situation positively.. Please explain.. I believe in helping the needy with what i have. Amma loves people from her heart but you say we should be detached and love how is detachment and loving at the same time be possible? Awaiting for your detailed answer.. As i feel I need to know more about everything..

I have never said, not to be compassionate to others.
Compassion does not mean sympathy or dependency, but helping ourselves and others to be mentally strong and positive. Helping the needy is good, but helping them to be self reliant is even better.
Only with true love, you can motivate others to uplift themselves. That alone will help them in the long run.
