Swamiji, i have hear that interreligion/ intercaste marriages are sin according to bhagavatham and the people who marry like this will go to hell. Is it true? Does bhagavatham says anything about this?

When our scriptures describe “varnas” or personality traits it does not mean caste as we understand today. It is important that people of the same personality traits marry and produce effective offsprings. Otherwise it is detrimental to the society at large. It has nothing to do with religion or caste.
