Swamiji, I heard a bhagvatham talk and in that he mentioned about our papam and punya karmam and that we get all the good things in life because of the good karmam we have done in the past in this life or previous life but with that our credit gets over and we need to keep doing punya for peace of mind and I do have a secure job and a good family but my mind however much I try to strengthen it ,it keeps calm for some time and then falls back to frustrations and instability especially during times which are lonely and stressful and I feel so weak inside that I just do not have courage to face anything or anyone outside.I really am struggling to understand how a smart and strong mind can sometimes fall back so down . At times my family and friends tell me how much I have improved and then my mind just gets a trigger from somewhere and slowly it’s condition starts spiralling downwards and I try hard to regain it’s capacity by talking to my closest family but it’s so tough to get back up again .Swamiji my doubt is as the bhagvatham teacher said that when your punya karma gets over or when you are doing too much papam then even if you have good things in life you will never be able to enjoy it.I know so many are suffering in these difficult times and I personally haven’t directly suffered but still all these things make me really feel very down and get sleepless nights. Is all this due to my papams or our papams,if so what can I do at an individual level to overcome this.Swamiji,as a mentor I hope you will give me your valuable guidance. Thanks so much

Hari Ohm. I am really surprised that most of the people think like you . They are more conscious about their worries loneliness, boredom etc. seldom they they do understand the real strength ability . Life is like day and night. When sun rises up life becomes bright and when sun disappears everything is under darkness. In the same way namasmaranam is like sunrise. If you practice constant chanting of manthras the darkness which you have created over a time by negative thoughts slowly disappears . It may take a couple of months to clean up all these mess ( unwanted disturbing thoughts ) However if you are sincere and committed to your practice ,your devotion and determination make everything positive very shortly. Actually your mind is not weak but you are bending towards weakness. So stand up,be firm and walk straight ( in spiritual sense) ,you can see immense change in your personality
