Swamiji, I just lost my father 2 months back. I am married with a 5 yr daughter and mother living together. I work in a reputed company in Mumbai. I am unable to find any enthusiasm to work. I used to think of career but not anymore. I am aware of these changes but memories of my Papa persist. Nothing excites me anymore- My wife is due with our second child- even this is not exciting me. I am known in my family and friends for being a lively person and am generally well read. What is it that my mind is seeking? Where am I heading? I am unable to think clearly sometimes. How should I deal with death of my Papa and my own future – includes my mother, my wife and my kid. Please advice as I dont know whom to ask.

Yes, it is natural that the death of responsible people (especially father who was so close) affects our mind.
Now your mind is going around the thought of your father’s absence.
Never allow the mind to fall into that kind of thought because it further pushes you into depression, that may destroy your further enthusiasm in life.
Whenever you think about father awaken your Conscious mind and ask “am I absent now? ( mind which is present alone can recognize absence and presence ,can you think about your papa while you sleep?).
If I am present let me think and interact with what and who is present.
Smile, laugh and be cheerful.
One day you too will vacate this world, before that contribute or distribute maximum happiness to maximum people with a smiling face and caring words.
