swamiji, I like to live a spiritual life, but my parents are compelling me for marriage. I don’t have any interest in married life. I’m ready to do anything for my parent’s happiness. But this is something i can’t even imagine… What will i do… ?

When we take a decision on future, based on what we know today, it can be difficult, because we don’t know what will be good in the future. That is why we often listen to the advice of parents, Gurus etc. However, the homework you need to do is, where you see your life 25 years from now. What will your life be if you were married and what would it be if you choose not to marry? What is prompting you to choose one over the other? Whatever you decide, it should not obstruct the flow of life in you. In other words, it should enable your fulfillment. Only you will be able to answer that question. Give this thought sometime and meditate on it. The answer will come from within you. My blessings are with you. Hari Om.
