Swamiji, I tend to have a lot of doubts in my mind sometimes. One thing I don’t understand is that why so many people I have seen die young like young mothers or young fathers who die a sudden death due to heart attack or other diseases leaving behind their young family, few days later people get busy and they forget about it but their kids and spouses suffer for ever and nobody can ever fill that void of their father or mother. Why does God do such things or its not God it’s the result of our own karma but it’s such a great loss for the family. My husband’s cousins lost their mother even before she turned 40 and now those kids are not doing anything properly, they are always on their mobiles not studying or even talking properly to people. Why do such great sufferings happen to people.

As you correctly put it we all come with some karmic burden to a life and when it is complete, we leave this world. It is not God’s doing. But the other aspect of what you said….the void in lives that happen today, is just the side effect of “everyone being too busy” and not having time to care. When a young mother dies, it is the responsibility of the family members to pitch in and help in whatever way possible and involve with the kids until they can fly on their own. I hope everyone will behave with that understanding to help. Hari Om.
