Swamiji, Is it true that whatever happens to humans is before-hand written in their fate? If everything is written in fate, what is the point of all the positive attitude we develop towards life, and all the efforts we put in? Also, you say, we need to develop the godliness inside us and that is where god resides? If that is so,how should we pray? Is praying futile? Do we need to do only meditation? Does that solve the problems in our life?

Dear Divya,
We are not in control of past and future.
But we can use the present to the maximum!
Destiny or fate is like our bank account; whatever we deposited in the past, we are withdrawing in the future.
We can not reject the results of our past actions; but, we can accept them as the Prasad from the Lord.
Prayer and meditation help you in this.
This will help us to maintain a peaceful attitude and it will attract more positivity into our life.
It will make present actions better and bring positive results in future!
