Swamiji! It is said in Mahabharatha that while Ghandava Forest was burned 4 Sharnga Birds escaped from the fire. Is it said anywhere about the past of birds or the future of birds? What is the Athmeeya Meaning of this situation?

They were born to sage Mandapala in a Saranga female called Jaritha. The mother and young birds were in the forest when the fire came. They asked their mother to escape as they could not fly. As the young birds felt the fire approaching them, they started meditating upon Agni, requesting him to spare their lives. They sang many praises and the glory of Agni in verse. Impressed by the clear thinking and devotion of these birds, Agni spared their lives. Two other people who escaped while Khadava forest burned was Asvasena, the son of Takshaka and Mayan, the architect of the Asuras.
The moral of the story is, your firm devotion when challenged by a tough situation, will save you. Hari Om.
