Poor concentration is because of lack of understanding.
Understanding comes only when he is interested in that.
The more the interest, the more will be the understanding. The more the understanding, the more will be the concentration.
Interest is created, when someone can teach him interestingly. So try to get a person who can teach him interestingly.
