Swamiji, Namaskaram, We had to prepare a write up on the Gramaphone and I was told that Prof Max Muller’s voice was recorded the first time on the first Gramophone of Thomas Alva Edison. It seem Muller chanted the below first sloka of the Rig Veda. Request that if Swamiji can explain the inner meaning of the below sloka just for my knowledge and understanding: अग्निमीळे पुरोहितं यज्ञस्य देवं रत्वीजम | होतारं रत्नधातमम || Rig Veda 1.001.01, Kodi pranamams to Swamiji

Before idols were introduced, Agni represented Paramatma as fire has light(visible) and heat (invisible).
Agni was worshipped before doing any thing to guide in the right direction.
