Swamiji! One of the aunties coming in my temple to read Ramayana asked me that “what is the relation ship of Hinduism and the number 7?” Example: Saptharshis – 7 rishies; sapthaha – 7 days, Sreerama’s Vanavas – 7 X 2 14 days – all the things said here are having a relation between 7. Is there any sense in this question? I was Not able to answer it!!!!!!!!!!! Please help me solve this doubt

Number seven in Hindu scriptures is a representation of the seven earthly planes of existence or seven levels of consciousness. Hence a lot of entities are related to number 7. There are seven chakras or seven energy levels activated with spiritual sadhanas. Hari Om.
