Swamiji … Pranam … do we need scriptures to understand god ? I presume we don’t need , it .. it is innate, the truth is within every one of us, we just need to tap it . As the tapping of the truth can happen any moment , we need not require scripture of any kind… In the light of this i don’t understand why Bagavath gita says in 4th chapter 40th verse , that one shouldnt doubt scriptures…. “But ignorant and faithless persons who doubt the revealed scriptures do not attain God consciousness. For the doubting soul there is happiness neither in this world nor in the next. “BG 4.40 i believe only when we have doubts we can get better , until atleast we know what we have to konw , we should have doubts
