Dear Rethi,
There is no collective spirituality in Hinduism. For eg., both husband and wife have to strive for self realization. If one is a seeker in spirituality and the other is not, the seeker does not have to yield to the materialistic approach of the spouse and sacrifice his/her own self realization.
