Every stage in life or every ashramam requires a certain kind of living. The duties and privileges of each stage is different as well. Sthithaprajna only means someone who is not too swayed by life experiences and can go through them without much difficulty. At each age you will see some people can handle problems of life much better than others. It is not a matter of age but a matter of mental strength and positive approach to life. Hari Om.
