Swamiji, Thank u for two replies to my query about spirituality. Kindly make yourself convenient to reply this query regarding the Chapter Number, slok number, Cant. No. etc and a brief meaning of the slok “Aham brahma padam dama, brahma aham paramam padam, avam sameksha natmanam, atmanyadaya nishkaley.” and another slok “Dhakshakadibyo, mrityubyo, na bibinya ham…….” In the second slok, I do not know the the full slok also only the beginning is mentioned. Dear Muraleekrishnan,
“Aham brahma padam dama,..” is the 11th sloka of the 5th chapter in the 12th Skandha.
Its meaning in short is,
When you perceive yourself as Brahman, the supreme abode, and place yourself in the changeless Self, you will not see the Takshaka different from yourself.
“Bhagavamstakshakadibhyo Mrurhubhyo….” is the 5th sloka of the 6th chapter in the 12th Skandha.
Its meaning in short is,
“I am not scared of Takshaka or Death. I have attained the state of liberation which is the abode free of all fears, as shown by you, Oh Lord.”
