Swamiji thank you so much for your reply ,it was so true and helpful. But I feel like there are so many obstacles on my path to spiritual growth and self discovery,i feel like when I am at home and with my loved ones I am my best and I could even feel gods favour in my life in so many ways. But when I come in contact with the outside world I feel like I get sucked into so many negativities and that pushes me and my mind down .How much ever you try you tend to get sucked into the office politics, competition, comparisons and jealousy around and so easily we ignore the inner voice amid the glamour of the outside world. So swamiji how do I progress on my path of spiritual growth and self discovery even when I am around negative, judgemental and egoistic people.please help

The best remedy to remain quiet in the middle of all the noise around, is to practice japam. Do you know why we are asked to sing ‘sandhya namam” loudly and in tune ? The pure and soothing sound energy slowly becomes part of your being and it resonates in you, even when you are involved in other activities. As you progress, you will see it purifies your thoughts and your interest in such “politics and noises” slowly will fade away. Start doing it today and watch the change happen in you. The more involved you are, the quicker you will see the difference. Hari Om.
