Swamiji, thanks so much for all your earlier answers. Sometimes I feel that my mind is fluctuating, at one point of time my mind used to be filled with positive gunas like kindness, patience, love and selflessness, but now because of repeated negative thoughts of my interactions with colleagues at work, most of whom are selfish, mean and I feel like they don’t have empathy. So working with them day after day and analysing their behaviour and words and learning to live with them has made me bitter, easily irritated, angry and selfish person which is affecting my family life. So how do I stop this creation of hell within me and create heaven like you always say in your prabhashanams. Does my fluctuating mind mean that I am less sathwik and more tamasik and I am not mature enough to have a peaceful and beautiful mind or that I have not really reached that level. Please guide me in my path for self improvement. Thanking you

Please read your question one more time. You think of yourself as a positive person, negatively influenced by people around you. A truly positive person is one who has the qualities to positively affect their surroundings. Instead of you being a victim of their negativity, you should be able to pull them up to your Satvic qualities. This can be done only when you achieve enough power in your goodness. Judging someone else as negative is inherently a personality flaw, because you are not equipped enough to see the goodness in them. Every person in the world is a blend of good and bad. To see the goodness in others and utilize that to your benefit, requires immense intrinsic strength. That is the first step you have to focus on, to remove the hostile environment at your work. Next time, you see someone as “negative”, understand you already failed. Work on it and write back to me. Hari Om.
