Swamiji thanks so much for your great answers. As you said we must think positively and forget and forgive. But what if that situation is draining us out completely, should we still fight it and continue to think postively, forgive and forget or just leave it and let it go. Personally because of God’s favour I have a great family,a very kind and understanding husband and very adorable little 2 year old son and my caring mother despite her illness is doing her best to help me.But in the outside world especially my office people are jealous and not cooperative and love to gossip and back stab. I tried a lot to fight it thinking it would make me a strong woman and a better mother but I realise now that it is draining me out, taking away my sleep, keeping me always stressed, upset and irritable. The one person who is now good to me in office happens to be a young man and that gets people in office talking about us.I have slowly started feeling guilty about my good qualities or my looks. My husband tells me to leave the job as he earns quite well but I am afraid I will be a loser and I am letting my colleagues win over me.But my situation is so bad I am having sleepless nights, and it is also hurting my family life. Why is it that some people can’t tolerate other people’s blessings but want blessings in their lives, why can’t they just give others the space to live.I never really liked my job but just got into it because my mother wanted me to have a government job and so I was happy when I got it but I never thought it would turn out to be like this and I can’t even take promotion as then I would get transfered away from home.i feel so trapped in my job but I don’t want to be a loser and run away from difficulties and I want to be a strong mother as I know I am raising a little son who will also have to one day face the real world outside..Please guide me Swamiji.thanks very much

Have you ever thought why someone would be jealous of you and try to talk you down? Because they think you are better than them. Be happy then. If someone talks behind your back, please know that is where they belong- behind your back. You are a beautiful, accomplished woman, beloved wife and daughter and wish to be a strong mother. It is not the people at work that cause the trouble for you, but your approach to their pettiness that hurts you. For the next one month, just practice “smile and silence only” at work. Be nice to everyone in every possible situation. If someone says something negative about you, just stay away from them. Let them take on their karma. You don’t fight it. Focus only on your productivity. See how you can help everyone who comes to you with a problem. Enjoy your lovely family, good job and friends. Gossips don’t deserve any attention, as long as you are sure about yourself. Let your child see, you are a role model of strength and accomplishment. Always focus on goodness only. There will be people who find something negative about you, have sympathy to them. Because they are doing that out of their own misery. Meditate on a form of Devi everyday for 15″ and chant Durga Mantra daily. You will clear up your mind quickly. My blessings for a fruitful professional life. Hari Om.
