swamiji there are mani opinions that sankaracharyar’s age period was in bc 4th century ,and some people are saying no no it was in ad8th century, like wise there are many opinions about this but majorly we can see these 2 opinions but when we search in google it says that period of sankaracharya was in ad8th century and majority of people have this same opinion but kaanchi kamakodi mada and jyothir mada doesn’t follows it they follows the other one means bc4th century and iam also follow that one because poojya swami chidanandapuri says that in kapilamuni’s saangyadarshanam it doesn’t tells us about easwara means it did not gives any mention about easwran .but after that many years gone within that existing prakrithi purusha vivekathmya some maharshi added easwra in to that there after it known as yoga those who follows that known as yogi. so in sankarn’s prasthanatraya baashya we couldn;t see the second one and also when sankaracharya swami tells us about avaidhika darshana it didn’t mention about christ religion and islam and majorly we can see budha matha and nasthika . and also throught he negate boudhar. will u give more explanation swami? what was the age period of aadi sankaracharyar . kaldi sankaracharyar was born in ad 8th century known as abinava sankaracharyar . so thats may be the reason that why majority of people says that aadi sankaracharyar’s age period was in ad 8th century . expect reply

There is a lot of dispute among historians on the dates of Adi Shankara’s life from 6th-8th century. The most accepted dating places Adi Shankara to be a scholar from the first half of the 8th century CE. In this context, I want to remind you of a story. A biologist went to an illiterate farmer’s orchard. He saw trees laden with ripe fruits and went around asking the farmer to name the trees and date them. The farmer replied, “instead of trying to find out the age of the tree, why don’t you use your time to enjoy the fruit?”.
This principle applies to all great men also. When or where they lived in less important. Their teachings are the fruits they gave the world. It is important to focus on that and enjoy it in this lifetime. Hari Om.
