Swamiji, we meet many people in life. Some of them will get attached to us closely. Those may be friends, dearest students, anyone..after a certain period of time they will go from us and busy with their own life. Some deep friendships also end like this. They will forget us very soon by giving a lot of beautiful moments and memories. In life journey, why this happen? Why they are leaving..? Why relationships end like this. Why some of best friends also can’t understand our love towards them??

Life has been described as a flow, because if it stagnates, like water, it will get dirty and stink. All relationships should be looked upon as a medium to improve yourself. You become attached to someone because some qualities of theirs are likable. But, relationships survive only if they are up lifting. Instead, they become attachment, expectations, ownership and clinging, slowly adding pettiness, frustration and hatred. Eventually there is nothing of value and it just becomes a burden to carry. Instead of brooding over past friendships or failed relationships, understand the world is a big play ground full of different kinds of people. Find the ones that make you feel joyful and enjoy being with you. Don’t stagnate, let life flow, move on your way. Hari Om.
