“Sama…Dhi” as the word literally means is a state of perfectly balanced mind. Enlightened people may leave their bodies in such a state. Shiva is the personification of Samabudhi with no preference to good or bad. Shiv Linga is the representation of such perfection in the consciousness and hence worshiped at places of death or Samadhi. Hari Om.
