Dear Sanalji,
The real name is Subramanya, One who transformed his mind.
“subham” means auspicious and “mana” = mind (one made his mind auspicious)
So “aru mukha” ( one who transcended SIX steps of transformation) is the real Guru, who helps us to transform.
