Radha was a childhood friend of Krishna and a soulmate. Her love for Krishna is described as an intense longing and pain on separation. Though Radha is depicted as a beautiful female she should be understood as a mind that is surrendered to Bhagavan. One that longs to be with HIM and hurts when separated from HIM. One that is United with him in DIVINITY and PURITY. All devotees should be like Radha, with absolute surrender in being. Then they will enjoy Bhagavan’s eternal grace. Hari Om.
