Swamiji, Why we have to perform rituals like ‘Sradham’ for our ancestors who had passed away? When we consider the life on earth, as a part of long journey for ‘Atma’, how relevant are such rituals? Once ‘Atma’ or ‘Dehi’ is released from ‘Deham’ or Body, can it connect to those who were related to it in life ? Once ‘Dehi’ is taking another ‘Form’ ( rebirth) , can it respond to rituals like ‘Sradham’ ? Pranams , Sajith

Sradham is a ritual not to please or uplift others it is to educate and culture oneself.
The mind which is separated will enter in to another body so this sradham has no meaning to them.
