Dear Vinod,
True love helps to nourish or improve a person.
It does not expect any thing in return, other than love itself.
It does not bind a person with attachment or possessiveness.
Even a mother’s love can not be said to be totally devoid of selfishness, as she loves her own child only.
The God realized Master or Guru loves you unconditionally without expecting any thing in return.
Even the expressions of anger from the Guru elevate you, while the expressions of love from an ordinary person may pull you down!
So, Guru is the personification of God Himself!
