Dear Nijil,
The basic nature of thoughts remain the same; only the objects change.
For example, when you were a child, you craved for toys. When you are a youth, your craving shifts for opposite sex.
Similarly, if you observe keenly you can see that the feelings are the same, the objects of attraction only change.
