Swamiji, how is that we can develop this intense and deep love for God or the divine energy in us.It seems very difficult to develop such a true and deep love such that it can keep us saved from all our worries, anxieties, loneliness or dishonour from people in short all the negativities from outside and from within our own minds. We fall in love with people because of their qualities or appearance or something that we see but how can feel such a love towards the divine energy within us.We use bhakthi almost always for getting something for me or my dear ones or some people fear as God is all powerful so we should please Him so that he takes care of us and our needs.Sometimes when in intense physical pain and you know no one can help and you have to go through it yourself, I have felt surrender and felt the divine energy helping me but otherwise in other difficult situations like now there is a lot of lonely and depressing thoughts going on and you know many are going through much more tough situations how can we really develop and feel that true love towards God and thereby keep remembering His name and feel his presence so that we can help ourselves and also others stay positive.

Hari Ohm.Developing love towards God start from a disciplined life, practicing japam, pranayamam ,meditation ,satsang etc. If you are able to sink in your own mental manthrajapam and from there the calmness and easiness of your mind ,your love and thirst for God will be deepened .Unless you devote and dedicate your life in a disciplined manner , your love will remain in doubts.start practicing intensively . The more you practice the deeper will be your love for God.
