swamiji,i am a 12thstd student.i am very jealous to a girl in my class.she gets more chances to show her talents than me.i am almost invisible at school.i have very few friends where she is so popular and has huge fans.i am jealous and i am hating her every way.when 11th std results were announced she scored more than me.maybe because she studied but i swear swamji ,i saw her copying.n i think she dont deserve it .i am sure atleast 1% of her marks is due to copying i am sure n i am soo very jealous of her over n over again. plzz gimme a reply soon swamiji. my mom is a great devotee of you swamiji..24/7 she hears your speaches which she downloaded from net.i hope you will help the desperate me.

Dear Swathy,
I appreciate that you acknowledge your jealousy and have the desire to eradicate it. This itself indicates the goodness within you.
Jealousy is a common negative feeling developed through comparison.
When you are infected by the virus of jealousy, you see only others’ goodness and your weakness. This virus can slowly destroy your efficiency and skill.
Understand and accept that each mind (character) is different and unique. If you develop a smiling face and fun-sharing attitude and address others by their names, you will start seeing that you have good friends always around you, like bees around a flower.
So never criticize your classmate. Always look at your own mind and ask, “am I polluting my goodness within by being jealous? Am I doing something about which I feel proud of?”
Practice this, you will definitely see changes taking place in you.
