Swamiji,i have started to meditate. But most of the times,i am not able to control my mind and atlast i will end up with my meditation within a few minutes. How to overcome this and get a pure state of meditaton?

There is no need to control the mind. In fact controlling the mind is a false idea. Mind is an incessant flow of thoughts by nature, just like waves in the ocean. What you need to do in meditation is to be able to dive deeper into the ocean without being stuck on the waves. Let the waves stay…..just learn not to attach to them. The right thing to do is liberate the mind. If you are able to do that consciously meditation is not an exercise you do,……..your life itself will be meditative. Hari Om.
