Swamiji, I live in states and I wake up early in the morning during week days, pray to god and then go to work, but on weekends I get to talk to my parents and then clean all the bathrooms but at the back of mind I am always thinking that it is getting late to light the lamp for god. I like to do the cleaning before I take shower but I feel guilty all the time. In fact I do the cleaning listening to your videos on the Ipad. So, is it wrong to light the lamp late in the morning? Please reply at your convenience. Thanks -Geetha

Dear Geethaji,
Truly speaking, you have already lighted the light of devotion in you. Actually, lighting the lamp is not at all required if your mind is in constant memory or remembrance of God. Understand, Ratnakara, a thief became Valmiki not by lighting a lamp but by lighting his mind with devotion.
