Swamiji, I understand that every deity has equal power. Then what is the necessity of having different deities in temples. For instance, Guruvayur temple in addition to Guruvayurappan, Ganapathy, Swami Ayyappan and Bhagavathy are there. People are seen given more importance to Guruvayoorappan only. Whichever form of God that attracts you the most, feel ONE with that form.
Merge with God, that is the purpose of worshiping.
It doesn’t matter if your Ishta Devatha is Krishna, Siva or Devi.
