Dear Aarti,
Love and attachment are not the same. You can love someone even without attachment.
Love is a positive energy but attachment is a burden.
Now, whenever he calls you please bring the topic towards spiritual knowledge.
Let his mind turn towards God as Sunithy Ma did with Druva in Srimad Bhagavatham.
If you can give spiritual knowledge that love is real love; because it helps every one discover their inner strength.
