Dear Vini,
It is not the duration, but quality of your sadhanas, that matters.
Bhagawatham says, a drop of tear caused by pure devotion to God is more dear to HIM than anything else.
So surrender to HIM completely and selflessly and do your sadhanas REGULARLY.
The quality will definitely improve.
This will also help you to master your mind and control your emotions.
