Swamiji,if God is within us why should we do all kinds of poojas ,archanas and other kinds of offerings to temples with the expectation of getting some favours from God?There are so many types of Vazhipadukal in Kerala temples.Is it a way of extracting money from people to run the temples?

The more we attend Satsangs, that much we can become free from ignorance.
Only ignorant people are exploited in every field. Lord Krishna emphasizes to understand the Truth through Satsangs.
Krishna says, the devotees who follow worship blindly are mere donkeys (Bhagavatham 10th canto, 84th chapter, 13th sloka)
