Swamiji, My niece’s wedding was almost getting finalized. The boy saw her somewhere and liked her so much and want to get married and both families agreed and my uncle was going to the boy’s house to fix the wedding, but before stepping out of the house a big coconut tree that was standing in front of the house fell down and they thought that it was a bad sign and they cancelled the wedding. I told them that it is just a coincidence and nothing to do with the marriage, but my uncle was saying that on that day, there was no wind and that plant was very healthy and there was no reason for it to fall and then they went to an astrologer to ask and he said that they cannot marry because the boy has some bad time. I do not understand, why people believe in all this. If you trust god and completely surrender to god and do things, then nothing will bother you. After listening to you, I completely changed and try to advise others, but most of them do not even try to listen. It is very frustrating. Can you please advise? Thanks Geetha Menon

Dear Geethaji,
Generally, people are mad after Astrology, they never love God sincerely because for them God is some one out side.
They could have taken that incident as a waring to be alert or holding more tightly with God, since time is not so good.
(As a child holds the mother tightly when some one tries to touch the child).
Surrender and hold sincerely, God will never leave us, this is my conviction.
Never fear God, love, love and love God. That alone can give us inner strength.
You can see later that your uncle will regret on his action after some time because he has broken a hope.
HariOm!
