Vivekachoodamani emphasizes on understanding and reflection as a means to discrimination. It is exalted among our scriptures for its similarity in content to Bhagavad Gita. It exalts ADVAITA and dismisses the material world as “anithya”. It advises you to be “Sthithaprajna” or with a balanced mind. It is a very profound book and some basic understanding of the above concepts is advisable before you start on Vivekachoodamani. Hari Om.
