GREETINGS

Swamiji,sometimes as seekers in the real world outside and still in early thirties we feel as we see the world outside,why should we be the only one who has to be nice,selfless and take the higher path.I do want to seek the truth or God and try and get as close as possible and also try and experience it if I can,but when we live in the real world implementing what we learn from satsangs etc it could mean having to be selfless,giving up a lot of our personal likes and dislikes,trying to get rid of our ego etc but there are times when we feel why should we be the only good one though we know the purpose is to purify our mind to go further on the path of spirituality like in our workplace we feel why should we be nice and stretch ourselves more when our colleague is also paid the same and at home we feel why should I be the one to give up my comforts or adjust my personal likes and dislikes so that I can stay with my elderly parent and take care of them when my sibling is following his ambitions and dreams and staying abroad and isn’t willing to adjust or take care of parent.I know that God has blessed me so much and He loves unconditionally and we must share that love and it is my duty but in the real world at the back of my mind there comes that feeling that why should I be the nice one or kind one when they are getting the same benefit or have taken the same benefit.How do I get rid of this kind of emotional pain that troubles me in the spiritual path.
