Dear Kreethi,
The mind undergoes various life times through various bodies.
The impressions of male and female characteristics are deep inside every mind.
That is why, the aggressiveness of a woman to a man and the surrender of a man to a woman in intimate relations happen.
Then they both return to their natural state of mind.
When the present body(of a particular gender) and the predominant impression in the mind are mismatching constantly, this transgender problems arise.
Understand, the mind purified and subsided in the Self is gender-free.
The Self is beyond the state of even “human being”.
That is why the Lord is shown as taking many avathars including the form of animals (Varaha, Narasimha etc).
