Dear Rejeeshji,
Liking or loving a person is not under your control, but marrying that person is a major decision in life and has to be taken wisely.
In our society, marriage is an alliance between two families of matching culture and values, or at least between the two partners.
When you both are brought up in two entirely different backgrounds, living together for so many years without any support from the families is challenging.
So think well, if you both are truly ready to accept that challenge or is your relation shallow?
Then take a firm decision and go ahead.
