Swamyji is it a must that all cookings for bhagwan or the diety of each temple should be done only with fire wood and not on gas or any other fuel. I see so much pollution created by this and the poojari too has to take so much strain cooking on fire wood.

There are rituals and customs which can be customized according to time.
Suppose Mahabharatha war happens in this age, would the warriors use chariots?
So, there are things that change according to time and convenience.
And there are things that are beyond time.
Wisdom is in understanding and differentiating and integrating what is needed accordingly.
