Thanks for your reply for my previous question about keeping Krishna as a role model posted on 15-03-2012.I am confused with your answer.Can you make it clear that does your answer means that Krishna was just an imaginary character and not a historical character?

Dear Sam,
I can understand your confusion.
Now tell me, when some one compares his wife’s face to moon, what does he mean by that?
We tell exaggerated stories to small children to teach them valuable lessons.
Similarly, our Masters used mythology and symbolism to impart eternal Truth to us.
Krishna is not mere history, but the real Self in us. If you seek Him within, you will never miss Him, but you can experience Him.
