Thanks Swamiji for encouraging me. My son was very happy to receive your blessing. On some occasions he has his own anxious moments like whether he will be able to complete the assigned portion which he has set aside for studying. That brings about stress. I do ask him to read the meaning of certain selected slokas from Bhagavat Gita (The Holy Geeta by Swami Chinmayanandaji). I sometimes tell him that if you worry then it is like you are insulting God. Am I right in saying that? Kindly guide me. Swamiji, my sister is keen on learning to chant the Bhagvat Gita and Srimad Bhagavatham. She feels that she will be comfortable if she reads with me. But the problem is we stay at different cities. Is it okay if we take the help of the telephones for this purpose since we have the facility of free talk time? kindly guide. Namaskaram

Dear Sharada,
The purpose of reading and learning Bhagavad Gita and reciting Lord’s names and bhajans is to develop a relaxed mind.
More the relaxation deeper the understanding.
According to Gita, a relaxed mind alone has strength, clarity, commanding power and finally sharp understanding. This can be developed through regular practice.
So teach your son the art of relaxation.
You can discuss all these with your sister over phone.
Hari Om!
