The Saptaham at Mayur Vihar Phase 3 just concluded. The queue for lunch outside was long. I observed that young ladies were breaking queue. Should I have objected to it or should I have let it go, because you said, there are some things that you have no control and should let go.

Breaking a queue is not one such thing. It is a matter of proper social behavior. You could talk to the people doing it politely how they were inconveniencing others or brought to the attention of the organizers. Everyone has an obligation to be considerate to others.
In fact, our education system should aim at that too.
